For Our Health stands in solidarity with the dedicated public servants at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the CDC and related agencies who lost their positions on April 1 and we firmly oppose these short sighted actions and callous disruption to their work and programs. These actions by the Trump Administration undermine and threaten the health, prosperity, and liberty of all Americans. We reject the attack on vital public health services and the dismissal of those who have committed their careers to protecting the well-being of our communities.

While too little and too late, Secretary Kennedy has now acknowledged that mistakes were made and that 20 percent of previously terminated staff will be reinstated. This underscores the reckless and dangerous nature of the actions that are being taken and the threat to our nation’s health and well-being.
